I still think it's pretty amazing that someone can buy a nice 3BR colonial within Albany city limits, and in a good neighborhood, for less than 200K. You can't buy a garage in the Boston metro for that price..

Yeah as far as the northeast goes, Albany is still a really good deal. Even in a tight housing market.
