Wow! Thank you for sharing your vacation with us. Your kids are beautiful...I can only imagine how much fun they had. And I have to say, I LOVE their hair - don't think I'm nuts - but they really brought a smile to my face...a little nostalgia maybe when my sibs and I went camping in the early years.

The long hair started with Padawan Braids.

Padawan braids, you know, Padawan braids: A Padawan braid was a type of braid worn by Jedi Padawans that were of species that grew hair on their heads, although some Padawans of species that don’t have hair created similar braids. An example of this was Ahsoka Tanos Padawan braid, which was made up of silka beads. When a Padawan was declared a Knight, the braid was shorn off with a light saber.

Then they saw a deal on TV about Locks of Love and all decided that they were going to grow their hair for Locks of Love. When they get it cut they are going to go bald for a friend of ours that has breast cancer and has lost her hair due to chemo and radiation treatment.

This was all their idea.

That's really cool...I just love thoughtful kids...more great pics!!

My sister told me last week that my niece wants to grow her hair just a tad more so that it's long enough to donate to Locks of Love. I've also donated my hair. And as a breast cancer survivor, tell your sweet hogboys, THEY ROCK!!

That's awesome Hog Family!

I've donated two ponytails to Locks of Love - about four feet of hair total. Very worthy cause.
