We were just up there looking for rentals and or lease options. We found a house in the Aurora Shores subdivision. What is up with all the houses in that neighborhood? Some are nice and some well, some are just strange looking. We like Twinsburg and have heard the schools there were great any suggestions for other neighborhhods in the price range of 175,000 to 200,000?
Thanks for any input!

Hudson and Cuyahoga Falls too. Tend to get a little less snow as well.

Twinsburg is awesome.just sold a house there. great schools, great taxes. Solon is Cuyahoga taxes around 8.5...SUmmit County/Twinsburg is around 7%-big adv.plus you get a funds back 2% if you commute and into Cuyahoga(Cleveland) to work...not so in Solon. Solon is great too-but there is no difference b/t the 2 areas.Twinsburg has a nice community feel-solon is just sprawled subdivisions with no core.
You can find homes in that range in Twinsburg as well. Aurora/Reminderville is a wierd setup,agree-but excellent schools as well.much luck to you!

Many people don't know that Twinsburg has Twinsburg Heights right next door where there is a large section 8 housing community and unfortunately there is more crime there than the surrounding areas. Check out Medina county.

oh my goodness, theres NO such thing as Twinsburg Heights. Here we go again. and posting moderator, what does sec 8 housing have to do with this kind of a post? is the person who has fabricated twinsburg height imply that sec8= criminials? and what do these criminals look like? poster, run a search of twinsburg heights, and run a post on crime in twinsburg vs -the WHOLE MEDINA county-which suzze is suggestion is safer, i suppose from the verbage. do your research. Medina is dealing with overcroaded schools and school ranking issues because of the influx and inability to handle the crowding.

People pay millions of dollars to live in the Gold Coast neighborhood in Chicago, which is a few blocks down from one of the most violent housing projects in the United States. Here in Cleveland you have happy people in beautiful homes just blocks from social disaster areas like Mount Pleasant. And you're suggesting someone move TO A DIFFERENT COUNTY because of TWINSBURG TOWNSHIP?

Default Any more updated info on Twinsburg ?

Looking to move from St Louis in August . Twinsburg is in the lead for us between Solon , Hudson , and Strongsville . We are looking for that upper middle clas to middle class type neighbor hood and prefer public schools over private and will probabbly spend around 300 k for a home . We will work in University Heights and Bainbridge area . Any tips ? Thanks

I know you can read a map as well as I can, but I would choose Solon out of those three purely on location. They're all about the same, so why not live in the most convenient one and be able to have more time to yourself? I think Mayfield/Highland Heights and Beachwood are winners, too.

Thanks for the reply sports fan , we do look forward to watching football in a real stadium also !
On Solon , we are moving from a "newer area " our home is two years old and Solon seemed like it did not have much to choose from on the newer side in our price range versus Twinsburg . Maybe we were looking in the wrong areas and need to have our agent send us more info on Solon homes . thanks again .
