Reminds me of the time when we were driving to Slippery Rock to attend the open house and saw confederate flags... crossed that one off the list immediately and went to Pittsburgh instead. That was my first taste of what I now know is "pennsyltucky"

In terms of the Scranton area, it’s black(and Hispanic) population has grown quite a bit in the past few decades. Besides Scranton, some go to Wilkes-Barre, now Hazleton and are scattered in other suburbs/smaller cities in the area.
