This is just something I've had rolling around in my head after a conversation with a friend.

The id is the only part of the personality we’re born with; the other two, ego and super-ego, develop as we grow. The id is pure drive, solely fixated and focused on obtaining satiation of need-based appetites. This is interesting, Tableau (based on Seattle) will start using tech to track the "homelessness problem" in fifty US cities. This hit close to home (chuckle: literally) because they're local to me, just down the street actually (Kirkland campus).

How much do you need to earn to live comfortably in NYC?

So true. Sometimes in my shoes i feel it's easy to not work. At least I'd get free health insurance. And in some shelters you can live comfortably.

Psalm 141:2 - "May my prayer be counted as incense before Thee; the lifting up of my hands as the evening offering."

Revelation 8:4 - "And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand."


In the Holy Place the altar of incense represented prayer and intercession. The Lord said that His house was to be "a house of prayer for all nations" (Isaiah 56:7)
