Many aspects of the rock and roll, and hip hop subculture are fraught IMO for people of color. By adopting many of its traits we align ourselves with a different culture from our own which can be offensive and self colonization.

For example, I'm not going to get a tattoo. So, people view me as a pu ssy. Seriously.. What is the significance of me labeling myself as a Chinese bootleg of a 1970s Englishman by dressing punk rock? It doesn't just mean rebellion it means I'm a weak minded...

I have seen confusion on what food deserts are. I would like to be straightforward on what food deserts are and correct definitions for other deserts.

A food desert is an area where food is not available. Many could disagree using the thought a food desert is an area with limited access to affordable and nutritious food. When restaurants are present in an area serving affordable and nutritious food, the area cannot be considered a food desert.
