It was supposed to be this week. The one week of the year (other than Major League Baseball's Opening Day) that I look forward to, and the wait now becomes excruciatingly longer. This was it. I am talking about, of course, The Masters and the greatness of Augusta National and its lush greenery.

In case you haven't heard or read it yet, this year's Masters has been rescheduled..........to November.

November???!!! It's going to be cold in...

Lubbock's Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences is not far from seeing completion. Soon enough, there will be arts patrons, symphony attenders, and ballet dancers.

The venue will be a game-changer for Lubbock's music scene, not to mention its arts scene. The main building itself is almost done, but work must begin soon on the light sculpture. That neon squiggly line will be the marker for the Buddy Holly Hall to be seen from miles around. Total...
