Hello I was a part time custodian for this school county for 7 years until covid-19 came. I have been out of work for over a year. A few months later i called up one of my supervisors to find out my job status and i got told that my job was on hold for right now and i got told that the school county had a couple positions open for full time which i can't do full time because i get social security due to my disability which i'm only allowed to do part time. gonna be a record breaking heat today. lots to do at work and hopefully i can get a hand with it today. i think i'm getting too old to be back in that kitchen. i'm trying to get a spot out in the cafeteria full time. then maybe ride that out till retirement. if i can't get by on my social security i'll have to find some pud job i can do part time if i'm physically able. getting old sucks.
