Vinyl Making A Comeback? I Wouldn't Count It Out

Posted 04-11-2022 at 07:24 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

Looks like the singer Adele scored a big accomplishment this past year. She got recognized for the best-selling album.

But there's just one thing, sports fans. This was not just an album that sold big, but a vinyl album. Y'all thought that vinyl was dead, right? If recent sales at collectors' records stores indicate correctly, then we might see a trend going back toward the LP era. Not that I'd mind that, but you'd think that, with all the...

Posted 04-09-2022 at 01:59 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

You have to love America if you intend to serve in high office. It doesn't matter if it's mayor, governor, Senator, congressperson, Vice President, or President. You must love America.

Just look around you. At your state offices. Your city offices. Look at Washington, D.C. Ask yourself this: Do these officials love this country?

Those who are Patriots do. But that's it. That's as far as it goes.

We have a President and...

A Few West Texas Musings From Your Rambling Writer

Posted 04-09-2022 at 11:10 AM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

While some folks are giving up YouTube (or, in some cases, getting kicked off --- and I'll explain that later), there are other people who are taking the plunge on the service to help pump up a community. And what's really amazing is that one Texas city is starting to get a lot more promotion from unexpected sources.

In the last few weeks or so, a few new YouTube users are making themselves more known, mostly in information related to real estate. Folks, I have...

14. Long-ish Strange (for sure) Trip

Posted 04-08-2022 at 10:50 PM by hunterseat (Keeping it Kind)

I'm going to have to break out that Grateful Dead song "Truckin'". I'm starting to see just how strange this trip really is becoming.
To bring this blog up-to-date, I'm still awaiting the closing of my west coast house. But thankfully it's approaching.

I found a fairly large property back east and am buying it sight unseen (except for pictures). The property is perfect. There are two living quarters, a house and a trailer, both of which need probably full renovation....
Life is short so ride your best horse first.
