Quiet Shadows....

Shadows define us... Both physically and personally... I consider my shadow a hero as well as friend... The shadow is there whether your happy, sad, tired, or just lost and scared.... As I sit here at my bedroom window and write this my shadow becomes a silhouette across my wall as the sun sets on the western horizon... It's so peaceful, the sound of the crickets, bull frogs and coyotes... This perfect setting makes me dreamy and I almost forget I'm here.... The shadow...

Exposed Part 12

Well Bill and I had a week to enjoy the nature in all its spiritual beauty. I feel as if I've barely caught my breath and the next crisis has arrived.
Yesterday, Bill had some serious swelling in places where no swelling should be. So around midnight off we all go to the ER. Good thing Bill had the forethought to pack a bag. Not only was he admitted, he was transported to a bigger hospital in Asheville that is a cardiac hospital.
The swelling was Congestive Heart failure, or the start....

So it's 8/8/8 today. Well, I have often heard that biblically the number 8 stands for "new beginnings." I'm not sure where this thought originates but so be it. I think we all tend to like new beginnings, new seasons, fresh starts etc. I do. (It's always been just one of those small pleasures of life for me to be able to turn over the page to a new month of the calendar!)

Ok, I googled it. It is suggested that this is because seven days is one complete week. God...

Moving to danville/ bardstown area from texas???

My husband and I would like more information about retiring in the Danville area.

We are very active and in our beginning 60's. At the present time we are looking at smaller properties that would take less work. We have been told to look at the Bardstown area too.

We must say that it would be nice to live were you have contact with others in our situation. How does one as a new comer met retirees?

If any one has information about danville or bardstown,...

Spelling and Grahamer

I couldn't never understand why people were always so adamant to admonish me in my younger years for improper spelling or grammer. I really dont think that it detracts from the overall meaning of what your trying to get acrossed. Do u? I mean, who cares what you right like, write?

I think that people typically look at others not based on how good they right but the concept of the bigger pitcher. Noone is perfect in this world and we all make a few mistakes here and there so it really...
