I was a very unwilling jumper. It was not one of my proudest moments... Blue Hole is in Texas, around where I went to high school. It was a place we went to swim sometimes.

One day an old friend showed up on our doorstep. Todd. A friend I went to elementary school with in upstate New York. We kept in...

Posted 08-14-2008 at 01:46 PM by CUrenn

Since I left China to here in last year, I missed the chance to watch Olympic games in my home country. It is a completely different experience to watch those games in another country. The sense still come up within my mind that in last Olympic game, I was sitting in front of my computer, watching the live telecast, when the women's volleyball team win the competition finally, I can not forget the overwhelming cheers and applause came out to my ears from many dorm windows. Posted 08-14-2008 at 12:55 PM by Katzztar

Seasons change and so did I, need not wonder why..lyrics from an old song. My moods change with the seasons as well I think. It wont be too long before the farmers are back in the field, harvest season is about a week or so away here.
Maybe I over romanticize the changing of seasons. I always look forward to the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Especially look forward to the end of summer and the start of fall weather. Highs in the 70s with the wind blowing, school buses starting...

Sleepless in the South...

Posted 08-13-2008 at 11:48 PM by aiangel_writer

I'm so tired, so dang sleepy. Night after night I watch the clock turn over to midnight or one. If I could just get in bed and go to sleep, I would feel much better the next day. But sleep eludes me and I am but a shell, staggering around during the day trying to wake up.

No, I do not have insomnia, my son does. My 14 year old son has not been able to go to sleep before one a.m. for over a week now, ever since school started. And of course, if he can't sleep, that means I can't...
