It's not very often that I rant about anything, but instead, I think I'll just spend this time wondering. That's right, wondering. Wondering why I make a simple request at my apartment office to have a maintenance fellow come on up to the breezeway next door to my second-story apartment and.......

......replace a light bulb.

That was two weeks ago. Well, this week came along, and, sure enough, the overhead light bulb in the breezeway was finally replaced....

My husband has recently moved to the Newcastle area due to a job. He is looking for a studio type apartment to rent. If anyone knows of one available in newcastle or osage area please let me know.

My husband and I are moving to Houston soon and are not familiar with the area. Here's what we're looking for, your input/advice is much appreciated:

1) SAFE - we walk our dog at night and in the morning so it MUST be a safe area
2) My husband will be working downtown so somewhere that has a shorter commute would be great!
3) Close to grocery, parks, walking trails (we're very active so anything close to outdoor activities would be great)

Oh what the heck, I figured I'd blog a bit on the Gustav drama. I don't know what I was thinking when I was sitting here figuring Hubby wouldn't have to stay for this one. Anyways he says he's going to have to stay for this one too. I'm so glad he told me over the phone 'cause I started tearing up and the hands started shaking. Then sis calls and I start bawling, (geez).

The last thing this poor man needs is me bawling as he's leaving to put his neck on the line again....
