Hi, I'm moving from Miami to DC in December. I've been accepted to grad school at American University. And I'm totally lost as to where to begin lookin for housing. I've been told city apartments are just as expensive as the suburbs. I just need to find a nice decent place close to AU. Maybe in the range of a $1200 1 bedroom apt. Being from Miami, I'm used to the proximity to shopping centers, banks, supermarkets when chosing a place to live. Definitely would take that into consideration for DC...

I have an 18 year old daughter who needs a good Endocrinology in the North Texas area. We are in Denton, Tx about 30 miles north of Dallas. Anyone know of a good doctor. She has had diabetes for 7 years, but our doctor isn't a member of our insurance anymore. Help!

I am a young blk/wht 24 yr old lesbian female from New York City. I recently was accepted to VSU to major in Deaf Education. I have read quite a few of the forums concerning racism. I don't know much about this new site, but today....I swear that I saw a roadrunner bird run across the side of our house behind the bushes, then over the neighbors yard. The little critter was as fast as lightening! It might sound crazy because I live in Syracuse NY I couldn't believe my eyes! I'll probably never know for sure.:eek:
