Hi, I will be visiting Birmingham and probably relocating on job move for my husband. I really don't know a lot about Birmingham and the surrounding cities. My biggest concern is diversity (race, cultural, etc.) I live in a very diverse area now it's probably 85% white but there is diversity elsewhere. I would like to move to the suburbs but would like some diversity probably about 20-30 minutes from downtown. Can anyone give me some ideas

Hello ,my name is linda i, had the lapband surgery,and had to have it removed .i was fine for 6-7 months,then i went to get a2nd fill and after that i could not keep anything down ,iwas dhygratedand had to be on i,v,s for 2 day . We have been vacationing on Oak Island for years and now have the opportunity to buy there now and make a move there in two years. We will have an eighth grader when we make a permanent move in 2010.
