living in the desert.

Posted 10-27-2008 at 05:36 PM by soo_locks

Hey, back again. I like this blogging stuff.
I got a comment from a bigbear1737 that said he (she) was moving to New Mexico. Funny that should be mentioned...I grew up in New Mexico. Albuquerque, to be exact. I lived there until 1970 (I'm 58 now) and had been back several times. I haven't been back since 1988. I hate NM. I hate the desert. I am living in Las Vegas now, had some bad financial difficulties and some wife's health problems, but we are moving to Sault Ste. Marie. I love that place....

Do You Want a Vintage Home in New Hampshire

Posted 10-27-2008 at 01:13 PM by cbraxton

Would you like a vintage colonial era home here in New Hampshire? Here are a few things to keep in mind as you shop. Antique homes are especially tricky since the average time on the market is two and half years or more. So, do not penalize a seller just because the home has not sold.
As with other real estate location is an important factor. Generally, older homes are built close to the road and any acreage is “out back” so you will likely have neighbors close by on either side...

Searching New Hampshire for a great place to live that works for you and your family? Here are some useful sources of information. First of all, despite being a small state, a lot of the location choices are by town and county and that may mean nothing to you. The very best place for town information is the state’s community profile link because every town has a consistent three page format. NH Community Profiles From that profile you can get the map, the town’s website (often almost impossible...

Bank of America- no honor among thieves

Posted 10-27-2008 at 12:18 PM by iluvlfe

I write this because I am sure there are others in my situation who may have experienced similar circumstances and I'd really like to know if this is widespread or an isolated incident.

I currently have a mortgage, which is in foreclosure, with Bank of America. I have gotten a portion of the money together 1250.00 which I took directly to the main branch and gave money orders to the bank rep. NOW 3 weeks later I contact bank about paying balance & I was told the initial $1250.00...

Information on Tennessee

Posted 10-27-2008 at 11:41 AM by dandai70364

I would like to get information about moving to Tennessee. I am currently seeking a Bachelors in Human Resource Management and I have one year of school left. I'm looking to move from Louisiana and I'm considering Tennessee. I also have a child and would like some feedback on what areas I can focus on with good employment, schooling, and living conditions for a single mother.:think::think:
