Sygogoling

Posted 11-12-2008 at 09:14 AM by Chinkepin

I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mts. and quite commonly heard (heared) a couple of words that I haven't heard anywhere else. One of the words was sygogoling, although I am not sure about the spelling. The other was spizeranctum, again I am unsure about the spelling. I have looked for it on the net but have not been able to locate it.
I always thought I knew what these meant when I was a child.
I would like to ask if anyone in the East Tenn. area remembers...

Getting Started

Posted 11-12-2008 at 09:09 AM by texag08

HOWDY!

I was doing some research on the greater houston area, where most of my friends seem to be living now a days, and I am also seeking a job there as a teacher. And, I came across this site. It seems that I must move up and out of my myspace and facebook sites to a site that is more informative and grown-up.

It's time to move on and get started with a new chapter in my life.

Fireside Chat #2

Posted 11-12-2008 at 07:41 AM by Pandamonium (Fireside Chats)

Good Evening Friends,

What a wild couple of weeks. There has been talk on some of the fora about a need for a revolution. Many point to Thomas Jefferson for justification. I wonder if it would matter if they knew that Jefferson wasn't so keen on that idea after the French Revolution.

The reason that I find this attitude so fascinating is because of the question that no one can seem to answer. And then what? Lets say one can actually have this revolution. Then what?...

i am the shadow on your wall ...i dance for you once the night comes ... see me float way up high on your ceiling , only to fade once daylight comes a calling ... i stay still waiting to dance for you again , its the only time i am alive ... dancing for you ... i have no life till the darkness sets in and all tuck in their beds .... i spring to life ... see me dancing on your wall , i like playing , dancing i am so happy to be free .......
