Summerville, SC and Fibromyalgia

Posted 12-05-2008 at 08:03 PM by fibrochick1

Hello All

I live in Michigan right now and my boyfriend and I are thinking of moving to Summerville. I was recently diganosed with Fibro and Chronic Fatigue and it's getting hard for me to deal with the cold and snow and the depressing darker days.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they have fibro and how SC is working for them. Also we are looking for a nice apt until we know if we like it there, suggestions would be great on that front also.

Are you ready for winter?

Posted 12-05-2008 at 03:35 PM by SWUtahNews (SW Utah Desert Happenings)

Since I work from home, I tend to think about these things. Living on the desert has it's challenges, and we're working to eliminate as many challenges as possible.

With that said, I just posted to "Ask Me Why... Work From Home" about being ready for emergencies, ranging from no power, to no work, to isolation.

A view from the top.... Minnesota that is.

Life for me has never been more enjoyable than it is these days. I packed up the Family and move us from Wisconsin, a year and a half ago and moved to Norther Minnesota, specifically Sebeka MN. A small town with a Population of 600 plus where like the bar in "Cheers" everyone knows your name.

Hey, it's not sappy, it's real. We're a tough breed of people. It gets cold here in winter, for a month straight we'll have tempuratures below zero, well below zero.

Sub contractor laws

Posted 12-05-2008 at 12:47 PM by wasden

Would anyone know the laws governing sub contractors and their hiring choices? I was hired by my friend who contracted with Wilding Wallbeds to install beds. I'm his assistant. We have worked for over a year doing this work. In the last 2 months the owners of Wilding Wallbeds now say they want my friend to use their warehouse employees to assist him installing beds instead of me to keep them working. How can they dictate to a private sub contractor on who he can employ? Is this legal? Any advice?...

The firing of coach Laviolette and the re-hiring of Paul Maurice:

Posted 12-05-2008 at 11:41 AM by Canes2006Champs

(speaking in a bit of a somber mood) Hey everyone, well I did not think I would be doing another hockey blog for awhile, but I have to chime in my thoughts with the releiving of Peter Laviolette's coaching duties and the re-hiring of Paul Maurice.

First off I doubt he will ever read this, but coach Pete, I wanted to thank you for all you did for this franchise. There were indeed rough times last season and the year before but you did your job well and won us a Stanley Cup and put...
