A lot has changed in real estate and mortgage finance in the past two years. But don’t just take my word for it; pick up the Saturday paper in your hometown and notice the significantly fewer display ads for Real Estate and Mortgage Brokers . And if that doesn’t have you convinced then count the number of For Sale signs that seem about as ubiquitous in some areas as the foreclosure notices published in the paper.

Trying circumstances again...but God's continuing provision!

Posted 01-11-2009 at 02:22 AM by carlos123 (My Daily Life and Thoughts while in San Diego)

I've nearly run out of money again. I need work but despite my very best efforts to get some window cleaning work...I have not been able to secure another job. One business owner offered to give me a pizza in exchange for cleaning his windows...but I need money. Though I might take him up on his offer if I start to get hungry .

The temporary labor places have no work either. I checked on one such place a...

relocating to hilton head

Posted 01-10-2009 at 05:48 PM by cmneal

We are relocating to hilton head from long island ny and would love some info. Is it family friendly? We have a 2 year old and are concerned that it may be more of a resort or retirement area than for families. Also, where do most people work who live in hilton head. My husband works in computer tech and we are concerned about the job situation. We love it there and even found a community to live in The preserve at indigo run. Has anyone heard of it? any comments?
