Bitter Cold

It is very cold in Maine...that is understood and is expected. Where I am it has been below zero the past several mornings....and while I realize that this isnt anything in comparison to parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin and the Dakotas....it is bone chilling cold. I know that because the plus side of zero feels warm.

I grew up in New England and was at one time used to "cold"; I was raised to put on a sweater before turning up the themostat; But I moved away to southern...

There is a term in engineering known as positive feedback. It is what causes the ugly whine that you sometimes get when setting up an audio system...a mike hears its own speaker and amplifies the noise it hears which increases the output from the speakers, which increases the input to the microphone which increases the output of the speakers...well you get the idea.

We appear to have gotten into such a situation in Las Vegas Real Estate.

The lenders sell homes...

What is an FHA Loan?
An FHA loan is a loan that is insured by Housing Urban Development Agency (HUD). It is important to understand the distinction between a Lender and an Insurer. The Lender in this case is not HUD, it is whoever makes the loan for you i.e.; XYZ Bank & Trust or Americas Super Big Mortgage Giant Co. Obviously these are examples of lenders who if they were real could make you an FHA loan if they were licensed and approved by HUD to do so. The Insurer in this case is HUD...
