Beautiful

Lord, You were beautiful
beautiful to behold
put to shame Lord
and in weakness
God's love is told
*
There stood where I should have stood
in Your love You took my place
in Your Person, bearing
all of my disgrace
*
No, not in majesty
comeliness to behold
but in pain Lord
and in sorrow
God's love is told.
*
There stood a felon in bonds
so that I might go free
oh I love You Lord Jesus...

Every once in a while...someone comes along and inspires the rest of us!

Posted 06-23-2009 at 11:53 AM by carlos123 (My Daily Life and Thoughts while in San Diego)

Every once in a while someone comes along and rises above their circumstances against all odds to become an inspiration for the rest of us.

The links below are to stories of how an unemployed black man who was all but broke, rose above his circumstances to build something wonderful. That has inspired countless others in turn.

He did what he did in part to inspire others, especially young people to keep them off the streets in the belief that one can be whatever they...
