Every Thing is Just as it Needs to Be, Now

Not long ago, I responded to a Dog thread that asked if my dog would protect me. I answered with my opinion that I had chosen a breed not known for protection, and added that I thought people that bought dogs for protection were fearful, and/or aggressive.

My post brought on some pretty aggressive replies, to which I attempted to make amends. After considering the exchange, I've decided that I was correct in my statement. Despite both person's responses that they were neither fearful...

Conflicted Feelings

My hometown is in Wyoming and next week I'll be flying back to see my parents, grandma, nephew and attend a wedding.

The girl getting married is a woman that I've known her whole life, since I was 5 months old. I tend to call her best friend, but the reality is that she isn't. Maybe back when we were young we were closer, and we have ALWAYS been competitive with each other.

This is not to say that she isn't important to me, she is. I love her and hope that we are always...

Moving to NY for Uni, from Melbourne, Australia

I am in year 11 and I have always wanted to live in New York ever since I first saw the TV show 'Friends' many years ago. I would really, really like to live in New York because I just love the idea of being in the biggest and most lively city in the world. I was wondering if it would be possible to go to Uni in NY with no money, and no friends or family in NY. Would it be possible for me to find some kind of work which would enable me to support myself while doing Uni? Would I be able...

Hi, I'm moving from South america with my husband to Miami. We will work for 9 months at University of Miami Medical School. It is possible to live near to this campus? We wanna walk to our work and feel safe. Please I need advice to figure it out how is the area surrounding this campus. Many thanks.
