Rolling Fields and Beautiful Buildings

I'm a native of Michigan, and though I lived for 12 years in AZ, and 18 in WA, I still like the Midwestern states and the people. People are nice everywhere, but there just seems to be a "down home" comfort for me in the Midwest.

Years ago, I tried to convince my DH (from southern CA) that we should relocate to IN. I didn't want to return to MI because of their poor economy, but my research found IN very attractive. He just wasn't going for it. He loves the Rockies, the Western...

Today I had a chance to walk down the hill I am living on to the nearest stores and found to my disappointment that there are no dollar store prices around here LOL.

Dollar store loafs of bread, canned goods, and goodies are...well...all but non-existant.

We are talking $3-4 for a loaf of bread folks!

People around here talk about a cheap burger being $7! They don't know what cheap is until they have tried a Jack-in-the-Box Jumbo Jack for $1.39 with...

I thought I would take this post to share some verses that the Lord spoke to me through to encourage others who might need to hang on to some verses when going through their own difficult circumstances.

When I say the Lord spoke to me through some verses what I mean is that certain verses stood out to me in my particular circumstances as being a specific and personal encouragement from God to me.

I might read the same verses 100 times before and might never be touched...
