Manufacturing Data Has No Impact on Mortgage Rates

The U.S. markets were closed yesterday in honor of Presidents’ day.

The only economic report to hit the news wires this morning was the Empire State Manufacturing Survey. Each month, the New York Fed conducts a survey of approximately 175 manufacturing executives in New York State on the strength of business conditions. The last few nights have been pretty bad. Mom is having extreme pain in her legs for whatever reason, and I've been up with her throughout the nights. However, I can't blame my health breaking down on this alone. I have been utterly irresponsible with other facets of my overall well-being; downright abusive, really. The danged cigarettes have such a hold on me - thoroughly disgusting and disappointing.
