Mortgage Rates Under Pressure Again with Higher Inflation Data

On Tuesday, mortgage backed securities had a nice rally which brought mortgage rates back to the lows of 2010. Yesterday, was a different story as all of the price gains with mortgage backed securities were lost after better than expected economic data on housing and industrial production. Yep! That's right, folks! I'm headed into surgery today for my penectomy. Ever since I was a small child I've found myself getting cramps in my hands when writing with pens and pencils. I heard about a procedure that strengthens the tendons and muscles in one's hands and allows them to write without that miserable pain and discomfort I so often experience.

The media portrays the real estate market in a negative light, due to the state of our economy crisis. While some areas in our country have been hard hit (I was recently quoted a figure stating that 90% of Florida's sales are short sales!!!), our market is still fairly stable (60 mile radius of Nashville and of Murfreesboro). Today we were notified that the 16 inches of snow on the ground across most of the upper midwest will mean 2.5 inches of water on every square inch of our soil and the worst flooding in recorded history.
