Inspiration

Posted 06-24-2010 at 07:41 PM by SunnyKayak

  • See the goodness that is in the world, despite the suffering. Give yourself every chance to experience your positive connection to the experiences and reality of other people.
  • Experience how awesome nature is, even when it can also be indifferent.
  • Do things for the sheer joy: singing, walking, gardening, and eating with friends.
  • Cultivate freshness. Open to wonder and awe. That involves internal permission and mindfulness in a deep way: "pausing", looking and receiving

Summer movie pick.

Five best friends in their late 20's discover new truths about themselves and the friendships they thought would last forever.

Watch full length here.
I thought this movie would be a more comedy than drama, but after the first two minutes, i ended up liking it a lot more. It was nice to site down and watch a seriouse movie for once. Sometimes it really does get old watching too many comedies lol, my falt. But yeah, the movie was very consistant...

Mortgage Rates Hold Steady at New 2010 Lows

Posted 06-24-2010 at 08:26 AM by VictorBurek

Weak housing data over the past couple days have taken mortgage rates to the lowest levels seen this year and almost to the lowest level ever. On Tuesday we got worse than expected data on existing home sales, followed on Wednesday with much worse than expected new home sales data. Squirrels wrecking havoc on my Pin Oak Tree

Posted 06-24-2010 at 07:39 AM by Jennifer0660

HELP!
We have a 40 foot Pin Oak tree in the back yard. The tree is full of galls (knotty wood balls). The squirrels are chewing on the galls and causing them to crumble all over our patio and yard. This is also causing braches of leaves to fall from the tree. So many branches are falling that we are filling up an 1/4 of an 80 gallon trash can within two days. Does anybody have any suggestions how to remedy this?

p.s...the squirrels are also eating my tomatoes...
