My Wife and Doris went to Ashtabula today. Left about 9am, or there abouts (since I was sleeping, I dont quite know the time)...but, thats when she said she was thinking of going).

Two weeks from today, we will be arriving in our home territory. The tenants will be vacating both houses, our home and our rental, and DH's work to prepare both for re-occupancy will begin.

I've started the job search, and had one good phone interview that ended with the suggestion that another will follow, next week. I hope it works out, as it is for one of my target nonprofit organizations near my home, and I would like to be a contributor to their mission.

At 40-something I have decided to change professional industries. After working in hospitality for two decades I've decided to learn IT. I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person, but I don't know a great deal about computers or networking, and changing industries at such a late stage in my life is a risk, especially in this train wreck of an economy.
