Hi Charlotte,
I am a new member and am excited about joining. I'm new to the area too. Looking forward to getting to know people and vice versa. I have recently been employed by the Examiner.com as Charlotte's Rhodesian Ridgeback Examiner. From the time I was 3 years old these were the only dogs my family had; we bred and raised them. I hope my insights will be valuable to Charlotte and I am hoping to gain insight from you all as well. Should you have any pics or videos or need me to answer...

Posted 07-26-2010 at 04:34 PM by LookinForMayberry

Back to the RV from a morning trip up to Republic, I found I'd missed a call from the last remaining work reference needed for my interview, next week. The caller was my temp agency "handler" in Bellevue, WA. I emailed my thanks for her follow up, and told her I'd heard it was crazy "out there."

She said I'd heard right.

Earlier in Republic, things were pretty quiet, though not as quiet as Metaline Falls. While my DH "hunted" rock walls for...

Just venting share your most frustrating moments

Posted 07-26-2010 at 11:33 AM by WOLFE13 (Plan my vacation to northern california)

My frustrating moments are when people are indecisive and hold up everyone elses progress or plans.
Example: I have a co-worker that wanted to take vacation during August. First it was the 1st and 2nd week, then it was never mind, then it was OK the 1st week. So I went ahead and made plans for the 2nd and 3rd week of August. Now shes crying that I won't let her have any time off. Only one of us can be off at a time because our jobs cover each other (I have seniority). I was trying to be nice...

What Will Move Mortgage Rates in the Week Ahead

Posted 07-26-2010 at 08:31 AM by VictorBurek

Not much to recap from last week. Consumer borrowing costs moved higher at the beginning of the week but recovered the losses by the weekend. This was despite the stock market posting a healthy rally indicating the rates market remained disconnected from stocks. It appears this disconnect is continuing this morning. The par 30 year conventional rate mortgage has been holding in the 4.375% to 4.625% range for quite some time as market participants are hesitant to drive mortgage backed securities...
