This is going to be good.

My experience with the cat rescue a couple of weekends ago, coupled with reading a friend's posts about her dedication to cats got me enthused about volunteering to help local cats in need. I "googled" for locations of shelters in my area, selected the closest to my home and work, and emailed them. I was thinking I would go over, let them see I wasn't the untrustworthy type, and they'd put me to work cleaning cages, or whatever.

Thanks to expert movers Steve and Kathy P. for sharing their extensive moving experience with me. They are retired military and have the moving thing down pat. Since moving companies have one of the highest rates of complaints and scams of any business in the US, protect yourself by getting recommendations and checking out each company yourself. Movers are expensive, so make sure you don’t end up paying in more ways than one.
