Posted 10-31-2010 at 07:17 AM by LookinForMayberry

Living In The Experienced Reality

Posted 10-31-2010 at 05:33 AM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

Philippians 3:12 -- But I keep going on, trying to grasp that purpose for which Christ Jesus grasped me.

Psalm 63:1 -- O God, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You: my inner self thirsts for you, in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.

OBSERVATIONS

I do not want to just give mental assent to Christian doctrine.

I want to see, have contact with, and live in the experienced reality of Christ's actual presence.

It is commonly known as " The Armpit of U.S.A. " ...

We were here till I was in 7th grade, then we moved to Fairfield. I learned there that if you werent in a "clic" you didnt stand a chance in Fairfield . I went...

The Unseen World

Posted 10-30-2010 at 05:18 AM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

Matthew 12:28 -- "If I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you."

The unseen world has influence over the visible.

The Kingdom is here and now.
We must acknowledge that it's in the invisible realm. Just as Jesus worked only through the Spirit of God, we need to do likewise as His agent.

The enemy's attempt to anchor our affections to the things that are visible is easily resisted when our hearts are aware...

So You're Moving to Lexington Ky: Check out Area 4....Southwest Lexington

I thought I’d spend the next 4 posts talking about the 4 areas that we divide Lexington into when searching for houses. I am gonna start with Area 4 since it is one of the most popular parts of town. For starters, it is shaped like a fourth of a pie between Nicholasville and Leestown Road. You can think of it as the Southwest quadrant too if you like. I’m not going to spend any time talking about the part of this area that is near downtown and UK….mainly since there isn’t much residential...
