The Wrapping, the Shopping, the Frantic Trips to the post office vying for a parking space or just trying to get in the damn post office driveway. I will be glad when this Christmas is over. Not feeling it this year. Some years I do, some I don't. If it was up to me I would be skipping Christmas this year. Misfit toys!? Sorry! You gotta wait 'till next year. Again!

There was this weird sensation I experienced just a moment ago. When I streamline different radio stations on the Internet, it's absolutely incredible what I can run into. So, when an unfamiliar Bee Gees song hit the airwaves on "The Mike Harvey Show" on Lubbock's KKCL-FM (98.1), something happened that doesn't happen very often: I want to hear it again.

Okay, those moments happen more often than I care to admit, but since I'm a big Bee Gees fan,...

The Solstice 2010

The solstice this year was accompanied by a full moon and a lunar eclipse.....first time since the 1600's.

I wrote the following commemoration of the significance of the solstice.

"Last night was the longest of the whole year...... it is all up hill from here.....the trees maybe frozen and snow laden.....but deep inside there is a shiver of life....a faint memory of robins and daffodils and earth worms and warm rain bathing their roots....the elixir of sweet sap...

Last night I went to exercise session at the YMCA... Whew! I took one too many pain med, and had to work my butt off, in order to nullify the effect of the med!
Normally, I know how much to take, but, last time I went (ove a week ago), I had to add an extra one, because the pain wasnt being overcome, so, I figured it would be the same this time..WRONG!!

I did tell my Wife that I took one too many and why I was working more on each station, (she wanted me to only do 100 of...

Well, I had this huge 'rant' typed out, but, since I cant stop everyone from seeing it, other than the people on my 'friends list' and Moderator, (whom it wouldnt bother me to see), I decided to cancel it.
I will have to find another way for the interested party to get my message, (after I am dead of course, because the person cant read it before hand and really make our lives more uncomfortable than it is now).

Im figuring on this computer outliving me, since I dont download...
