Where I live, in North Texas, we've had a long drought all over my region for the past few months. Meteorologists everywhere were saying that it could go on all winter. I could live without snow, personally, but we have needed rain. It wasn't in the forecast earlier in the week.

Lo, and behold, what exactly did happen in my hometown on Friday? Rain. Long stretches of it. The National Weather Service snuck the rain into the forecast Thursday, thanks...

The Holiday baking is done... From sugar cookies to Buckeyes, and fudge, and everything in between...

We have the turkey thawed out for tomorrow, and the holiday jello is made...

My Wife took our Presents and fudge out to my Dad and Mom and younger brother on the other side of town...(She knew I didnt want to try and walk up the stairs leading to my Dad's front porch, so she enlisted the aid of my Son to cart all the holidays cheer up that way).
