For a guy that just came off of vacation, you'd think that first-come, first-served would be the order of the day when you have to jump at the chance. For a guy with four weeks to take now, it gets more challenging when you have to plan two months ahead. Soon as I'm back, I've got to plan again. That's how it is when you've got four weeks in 2011. That's right, sports fans. Four weeks. . Four. . IV.

The economy being in the crapper has really made it tough for us to get OUT of here. Columbus Ohio sucks so bad--I can't articulate it right now. But, we want out, if we can find a way. So my new tack is to check new places with good technology bases that aren't in the Midwest (drive me insane).

One day, I hope to find a place where I don't feel like a fish out of water every day of my life, where the people are reasonable, and where there is beauty and trees.

*sigh*

Cruising FB tonight and started thinking about friends. Sort of like that Bruce Springsteen song GLORY DAYS? Who is where and how others you know have done in life. The kind of reminiscing that cause you to be envious one moment and grateful the next.

Then you start typing names in the FB search, to see if some have entered the age of technology. You get a million hits or you get some really whacked variation that has zero relationship to your inquiry.

Wife and Son just got the exercise bike up, from the basement!! YEAAA!! Soon as my Daughter's Boyfriend 'leaves', I will get on the bike and do ten minutes on it... I rather do it with out the 'kid' looking and making fun of me, sheesh!

Got a call from my Buddy in N.C.! I didnt realize that I had a birthday soon, and he and his Wife wanted to wish me a happy birthday!
Wondeful people, those two are, and I will be sorry to see them, finally move down, and stay in North Carolina......
