As we mentioned yesterday, we have completed our maiden voyage and survived. But, there are still some housekeeping details to address between now and 2013. As great as it was to be on the road, by last week we were both ready to be at home base again. Part of this angst is due to the tempo of our trip.

As I read the headlines this morning, I am deeply saddened for the loss of another 93 persons to terrorism.

I pray for cessation of all hatreds in our hearts that we might begin to heal and live in the manner that God intended.

Hatred of others is a flag of a sick heart. Please, let your hatreds die. Do not speak of them and do not nurse them, do not fuel the flames.

Know that hate is only your own fear and resolve it within yourself before you further...

so i couldn't sleep last night...why? because I was thinking about all the poor people in Norway who lost their loved ones in such a horrific manner! What would possess a human being to do something like that? Are we regressing as a race? Maybe animals are better off than we are? At least they only kill for food! There could be no good reason to kill another human being, unless they are killers themselves? But then dont you think that the death sentence is too easy for some people?

looking for somewhere for target practicing. Will be all handgun shooting! I would like to find a nice land owner in the Germantown-Frederick, Md. area that wouldn't mind an old army vet to get some practice in on their land. I am a well trained and responsible person.....just need a place to shoot !
