Neighbor

My Neighbor, whom my Wife and my Neighbors Brother and Sister in law put in the Nursing Home is in the Hospital, undergoing a Colostomy Operation.

Apparently, she was leaking 'stool' into her stomach, because her bowels had 'fistulas' that were ruptured, and she has a lot of cancer in her...

My Wife speculated months ago, that she must have cancer, because she has had to have blood put in her a few times, as she keeps losing it, and there are no signs of it anywhere......

I know some people will take offense to this opinion. More then likely it will be people who have to sell their homes or real estate investments right now. Some of us bought into the my-property-is-a-piggy-bank mentality, over leveraged and are now upside down on their loan to value. That means they owe more then they can sell their property for. Chances are, if you watched or listened to any football this past weekend, your favorite team came out with a victory. Others of you, you may have experienced defeat. If you were a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and/or the Texas A&M Aggies, then you probably have gone to work this morning with a paper bag over your head.

For the past months I've been watching the politics

and I have to admit that I am completely flummoxed. I believe people have the capacity for good and evil, and it is our choices that lead us on the paths we travel. I also believe that we have a level of intelligence that helps us navigate the path.

What I've seen in recent months belies that philosophy. I've seen and read so many seemingly intelligent and good people making statements that are so blatantly counter-productive to their own and the public good that I am just weary....
