Every creature is stirring. The cows are moving up the hill under the horse's watchful eye. The barn cats are pouncing on anything that moves, including their own and their relatives' tails. The herd dog is wandering back and forth between me and DH, looking for breakfast scraps. The chickens are arguing, clucking and crowing, which they do from sunup to sundown. Wow, it's been forever since I've done a blog on here. I had thought about writing one for the Dallas Mavericks winning the 2011 NBA Championship but never got around to it. Maybe if they repeat I'll do that.

Well this isn't going to be much of a blog, but I'll type it out anyway. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone. Can't believe my 5 year High School anniversary is about 6 months away.

I may know of the school, since I grew up in Arlington, Texas, but I was never a student there, as I chose to go elsewhere. Oh, I went to a few band camps at this place and watched its famed jazz orchestra perform a few times on campus. But something was really missing from this fine academic institution and I actually don't mean football.

This has been a very different year for me, I am learning. I have learned to allow myself to be truly loved as well as to love myself. It has taken a lot to be able to do, and truthfully, I am not fully there.

I sit here across from him as he sleeps. I look at him and think of how much I love him and how he has really changed my life and helped me be the person I am. The person I have been all of these years has been bottled up inside of me.
