The Environment is SO Depressing

Posted 02-10-2012 at 06:24 AM by LookinForMayberry

Since I started researching what it takes to implement an Environmental Management System in our company, my days are filled with such depressing information I can hardly face getting out of bed on the work day mornings.

The good news is that we're addressing the situation on a local, state, national, and global level.

The bad news is that we do more to destroy our environment than we do to restore it. For every bit of progress I read about, there are ten or more accounts...

What about infidelity on the North Slope ?

Posted 02-10-2012 at 03:33 AM by Mssmilzalot

This really is quite entertaining.... but I have to go to bed. Be well everyone. Remember, one thing you should not do on any day is WORRY!
I just wanted to add one thing....my husband also works on the slope.. 3&3. He does wierd things, and he has no routine. I could drive myself crazy thinking something was up, but I work full-time and we have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a very cranky bird. I just don't have time.

Katie Is Back

Posted 02-09-2012 at 10:32 PM by KatieGal

The good thing about blogs is that no one reads them. Supposedly twelve people read my last entry, but they were probably misdirected folks, lost at the website. "Misclicks" I call them. I've accepted the fact that no one reads my blog but me. And even I am a little reluctant.

Anyway, I'm back from my trip to Death Valley. And yes, I did end-up going alone. Being alone on an isolated trail in the desert is a curious experience. When I wasn't taking pictures or looking at...

Posted 02-09-2012 at 02:41 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

Sometimes, you just have to do the tough things to survive, but also, too, to help others in need. Such is the case with the business of my employer, who is actually in need of another helper or two per shift. Folks are being asked to go in and work some overtime, and it so happens that your favorite blogger is among that fraternity.

I'm doing it for this week, but not next. Still, if nothing else, it helps the company succeed and prosper when...

oceans

Posted 02-07-2012 at 03:10 PM by mrs.tiger

i have a project in my biology class in school.. we have to make a brochure about the assigned biome that we are given..... this is what i learned

the oceans hold the largest of earth's biomes. it covers atleast 70% of the world's surface. it thrives with many aquatic species and many other plants as well.the climate, however is affected because the sunlight is projected through different angles at different times of the day, so some regions cant get warmth
