I remember movie theaters in Mobile, Alabama that no longer exist. So I am wondering is everyone's opinion on how to deal with excess wealth? How much is excess? Do you think as followers of Christ we should avoid living in places with excess wealth?

I live in California, and my aunt who lives in Orange County and her family are Christians but are consumed by wealth and have became a little selfish in their ways. They shoot to perfect their lives, but I feel it's not to glorify God.
