I keep hearing that we writers should blog whenever/wherever we can, to increase name recognition. Well, I'm not out for any fame! I just want to write. Like everyone else, I just want to be happy, and it makes me happy when my writing is enjoyed by others.

sometimes newark i just say stop the violence .... it was me my brother and some friends we went to aa party and as we was walkin home some ppl ran tward us with their faces coverd and with guns, i wasnt even scared it happens so much now ah days.... WHY CANT WE ALL JUSS GET ALONG

The Bridge Over

This morning, I watched BRIDGE OVER THE WADI, by Barak Heymann and Tomer Heymann on Hulu. It was originally aired in May '08 on PBS.

I was encouraged by the parents and kids courage to reach across the hatreds that ran between their religions, politics, and cultures. They faced REAL problems, not those "cooked up" by their political and commercial interests (as ours), but for their very survival.

Ode to Parents of Sick Children Everywhere

This isn't for those whose small children are down with their illness, but for those whose children are sick and don't know it yet. The ones you are told to keep quiet -- especially those whose children are the ones that are energetic. (Is that all of you?)

I've heard from older (wiser) people that you cannot escape life's lessons because life has a way of finding out what you've avoided. I avoided parenthood -- pets are so much easier, right?
