I've recently tried something new, and it's always exciting when that takes place, isn't it? Your favorite blogger decided to take a trek to Roanoke, Texas, and take a stroll along Oak Street. There, you will find some restaurants, cafes, and shops that are unique to the area.

Morning In The Up North

Feels so much like spring here. Looks like it may rain, but that's what happens in the spring.

Busy morning already! I drove into Remer to pick up some registered mail and to visit with some folks I haven't seen in a while.

The turkeys are staying around the house today. They've been wandering off lately and staying away most of the day. I drove down the forest...

LaGrange / Western springs are other LT served towns

There are plenty of pluses to all the towns served by LyonsTownship High but I would caution that any house that seems like a bargain on its Internet / MLS listing may have have some negatives -- there are a handful of section that perhaps a little too close to the train lines, or a commercial / industrial / healthcare zoning area that probably would explain the reduced asking price. Similarly although most of the area is quite walkable the fact is that it can be an awfully long walk from some sections...
