In this blog I will post everything about my trip to USA. I come in June by Work & Travel programm.
I will live in Williamsburg and work in a great cafe. I`m so excited by this travel that I cant wait the day to clasp my seat belt at Moscow-New York flight. Now it is visa formalities - do I get visa or not. I`m praing to get it!

It's Snowing In The Woods!

Good Morning!

I can't believe it! It was snowing earlier this morning! Guess our spring and summer are over and we're going right to winter again. And writing in my daily journal, the temperature was only 27 degrees. Cold! Turned the heat up before my RA discovered that it was cold in the house.

The turkeys have taken off for the day. I managed to get my bird feeders filled...

dry cleaning shirts: gender discrimination

I was just charged $10 to get two button-down shirts dry cleaned, when the same laundromat charges only $2/each for dry cleaning men's shirts.

I got home and immediately googled these terms: "dry clean" "women's shirts"ed
It's a big discrimination problem, and the first result is actually a closed discussion on this very city-data forum.

I just learned that no matter how honest, kind and sincere you try to be, someone out there has to be rude and try to make it so that everyone else thinks you are the one being rude. Especially over the internet. It's so easy to be a jerk online.
