A Change Gon' Come

Posted 04-22-2012 at 07:44 AM by soliloquyenlightened

I had a presentation yesterday and I thought that I would have a panic attack beforehand. Turns out, I didn't. I didn't have one before, I didn't have one during, and I didn't have one after and I was in the first group to present, was the first person to present, and presented the longest piece of information. I'm so proud of myself! Our professor cut our presentation short (because she figured we ran out of time) and even then I didn't panic. I admit I felt guilty because I thought that I had...

Bigun, Ritzie, and Peppers

Posted 04-21-2012 at 10:19 PM by LookinForMayberry

Bigun doesn't eat carrots. He likes cauliflower cores and broccoli stems, but he LOVES bell peppers: green peppers, red peppers, yellow peppers, orange peppers. When the chopping block comes out in the kitchen, Bigun is THERE, hoping. If the peppers come out, one would think I was chopping up beef steaks.

Sunday School - April 22, 2012

Posted 04-21-2012 at 06:49 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

Affirmation: I don't sit around waiting for God to produce my harvest. I find precious promises from the Word of God and plant them in my heart and in my life.

Our vision is linked with our calling. If you feel you have not defined the vision God has for you in this season of your life, ask Him to clarify your call. Out of that call, allow Him to define your vision and show you the direction you are to take. - Chuck Pierce

It is the Christian's calling to be a priest...

Almost Gone

Posted 04-21-2012 at 09:33 AM by woodworkingmenace (History)

The rash is almost gone now...(Or, it may be gone, but my Wife didnt check it this morning, as she was preparing to go on a long venture with her Sister to Ashtabula, for an all day excursion, via a baby shower from one of her Cousins, Jenny. After 5 boys, she is now going to have her first Girl!! Congradulations Jenny and John!!).

My legs are starting to 'itch' a lot, an I have to use this long handled shoe horn to scratch it with... If it wasnt for the appointments I have this week...

Sneaking In Some Sustenance For Certain Greenery

Posted 04-21-2012 at 09:18 AM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

There is always a time and a place for everything in life. In the case of seeing things like flower beds and bushes growing, you want to be sure that everything looks even halfway presentable for those who live at a residence. The residence in question for this post happens to be an apartment complex. You'd think the grounds crew would have figured out that something had gone wrong during last year's drought.

Here's the dill, pickle: There's a long line of shrubs...
