One day on our trip during a phone call, she told me that she'd spent the day shredding my old letters. "What?!" I asked. "Why?"

"I don't know," she said, but I knew why. She'd been getting "her affairs in order" for some while, so we would not have so much to deal with...

Stuff About Me

Posted 06-15-2012 at 02:21 PM by KatieGal

Thank god almost no one reads blogs written by ordinary individuals. I can tell this blog stuff that I wouldn’t tell human beings. Even if some poor soul reads this blog, they won’t know who I am. So what’s the harm in writing secret stuff? Anyway, with that in mind, I think it is high time I divulge some personal information about myself, so if I were you, I'd quit reading now. If you decide to continue, don't blame me for the four minutes of reading boredom.

Politics, Generosity, and Atheism

Posted 06-14-2012 at 03:49 PM by KatieGal

Before the last presidential election, Obama’s religious mentor was Rev. Wright. The Reverend was angry and outright anti-American. Yet Obama sat in front of him for years, taking in Wright’s philosophies. Obama’s association with Wright almost cost Obama my vote. Had McCain selected a better vice presidential candidate than Sarah Palin, I very possibly could have voted for McCain, all because of Rev. Wright. Obama finally got his wits about him and ditched Wright, but that did not entirely...

Behaviour at school

Posted 06-13-2012 at 12:41 PM by znljubica (School rules)

The basic principles I imposed to my children regarding school were:
School rules must be respected!

School work must be carried out!

It was not always easy to follow those principles. Some rules were inadequate, some teachers did not respect the rules while dealing with children, and often, my children did not respect those rules.

Fortunately, there were no rules that went against the children. The behavior regulations concerning teachers and children...
