I've found the best way to approach short sales is to get as much preliminary info up front. Here are some important questions to ask before you sign a contract on a short sale:

Well, Sneakers got home about 1.5 hours after he said he would be home but that is not unusual so no big deal and he is home.

He got out of the truck, pet the dog, kissed me and immediately got on the mower so he is mowing right now. It is supposed to rain most of the weekend here and he wanted to get the mowing done before it rains and the grass really gets out of hand.
