In the past my son created sites and forums for us...He knew how to do all the behind the scenes work. (And I don't!)...Earlier I wrote a blog called "Taking things literally." I thought I pressed all of the right buttons to turn it into my 4th blog...But it seems to be showing-up as part of my earlier blogs. (Not sure!)...So I came back to do "practice makes perfect" to see if I can launch this blog successfully...I relied on my husband and son to do quite a few things for me....

I've been working on developing a new skill lately. Actually, for the past year, on and off. And I still suck. The skill is digital illustration/imagery. Currently I use Illustrator along with dabbling in Gimp and Inkscape.

I've been inspired by illustrations depicting civic pride, and what not, and hope to do something similar.

I'll try to keep folks updated as I grow in this endeavor and inevitably make mistakes.
