Time for some more scattershooting for the masses while we're all finishing what's left of all the Thanksgiving leftovers. Hope y'all out there have had the grandest of all holidays, even though the Big One is still coming up in a month. Got to get my Christmas list going with some goodies to write down. And if you don't like the holiday season, well, you just don't like mom's homemade apple pie.

Basic things you should know if you are moving to Austin

There are good family oriented neighborhoods in both north and south Austin. It is important to live on the same side of town where you work to minimize the rush hour traffic driving time. And while we do have mass transit, it is not very good for most parts of town, so don't count on that being a viable option unless you can carefully pick where you live and work to be on the same bus route. Even then waiting out side for 15-30 minutes in our extreme summer heat can be an unbearably sweaty...

A Crisp Sunday

There is much fine to be thought of a sunny November day with a brisk wind and temps in the upper 40's. There is much finer still to be thought of time on a tractor during such a day as that described, bush hogging away old growth, then hooking up the tiller and breaking ground in preparation for spring.

Baseball Players Needed Immediately for 29+ baseball team

The Austin Outlaws, and the Austin Baseball League, are still looking for players.



We practice every Saturday at 1PM at Govalle Park in Austin at 5200 Bolm Road.
We also have games and/or scrimmages on Sundays--depending on how many players come out.
