Hi everyone. My husband has been promoted and we will be moving to Centralia, WA from Palouse, WA. I am a nurse and am beginning my search for employment. We have to live within Lewis county and I am thinking I will likely need to live within a reasonable commuting distance from Olympia. Are there areas to avoid? I have been living in small towns most of our careers. I am excited that I will be close to a major metropolitan area. What is the weather like? We are both 40 and enjoy the outdoors....

One thing about living in the same Town that you were born in, you get to see how it either lives or dies as time goes by.

Also, you get to see the people you grew up with infrequently or on a continuous basis.

I have noticed the passing of quite a few classmates lately.

I watched as my Six Grade Classmates have passed, and now I am seeing those whom I have went to High School with, also passing.

Why people are dying so young, is beyond me,...

Looking for a rental with 1/2 acre; I do have 6outside dogs they are well behaved. I have a no bark system for them. I clean homes and 4 got left. And I have 3 indoor little dogs. I'm a housewife so I'm home with them most of the time the little ones have crates and are crate trained. Moved here from pahrump. Wanting to stay at $1500 or less. Thanks everyone for your help.

Person after person constantly advises me to move northeast or northwest, as my persona, appetite for debating about economy issues, political issues, community issues, history and the likes, my new vegan life, would be more beneficial and appreciative up north than down south where I have lived all of my life. I am beginning to understand where they are coming from. Additionally, I believe more opportunities will be layed at my feet for the area I would like to work and effect change with my thoughts...
