As we sat on the couch last night, both of us reclined and under my snugglie blanket the room seemed so quiet. It was New Years Eve and we were watching a movie together after spending the evening with some friends.

What area should I look if I want safety, good transportation, good quaility of life, and value for my money? We are retired in the South but miss our girls and are thinking of moving. I would like a cap at $300,000. Any ideas?
