I decided to give this blog thing a try, because I've been so emotional today that I just need to vent.

I don't understand how people can be so close-minded. How people can just assume that because one thing is easy for them, that it is easy for everybody.

There was a thread I was responding to quite vehemently today demeaning overweight people. Some commenters defended overweight people, but others agreed with the original poster. Are people seriously that heartless?...

Hello I am a single mom of two 21 and 13 yr old. I wanted to know which area is more ethnically diverse, Port Charlotte, or North Port, Sarasota? I am not prejudiced, just want me and my kids to feel comfortable. My parents live in Port Charlotte. I have visited quite a few times and I liked it. Are there any other areas close by that you might suggest that would be more suitable for a black family? Thanks for your advise.
