'Gotcha!' day

Six years ago today, on the corner of the street where we lived, someone abandoned a white dog who had recently had puppies. It was pouring down rain. That dog stayed at that corner all afternoon and overnight. She stayed out in the rain waiting for her 'person' to come back and get her. It was so hard to watch.

The next morning, she was still there. She was laying flat in the grass. My husband and I thought she had died. I asked my son to please go and check on her. As he walked up...

Downtown guns/ Riverman gun works

Where to start, well they moved from downtown near Sherman to a shopping center on the 90 and a much bigger shop.

The employees seem nice enough but a certain attitude pervades the shop, I think radiating down from its owner.

Very little stock is on hand, some used and some new but at best maybe 30 firearms for sale. A smattering of hand guns, a few shotguns and a few tactical type rifles.

Black Sheep Sporting Goods

A small shop with lots of gear, they are currently moving to a much larger facility that use to be wholesale sporting goods.

They stock firearms, bows, fishing gear and everything in between. The employees have always been nice and helpful and the selection is pretty good especially bows.

They have something for everyone and its a fairly fun place to shop. The prices are...ok, not good or bad just ok.
