Social networking

I am a member of the social network, Facebook. I had joined this social network to stay connected to friends and family when I went overseas on military orders. I had enjoyed staying in touch with my family and friends and stil be part of their lives somehow. However, Facebook isn't used for this reason anymore. I understand that everyone has rights to say and feel as they wish, but when people can create pages that demonstrate "hate" against a religion, race, etc. isn't the right of expression...

Fourteen Ways Come Sunday

I have noticed that a lot of folks on here have an interest in history and demonstrate a lot of knowledge about the same. This is in contrast to some other sites where it was obvious that there was a shallow knowledge of humanities, past.
One lady, who was a columnist for a regional paper kept complaining about revisionist history, her take was that many modern historians were rewriting the facts of history, especially about some of her favorite hero's.

Volunteer work, if we're lucky, can provide deep gratification.

Newark Penn Station to NY Penn Station - traffic question

Posted 07-11-2013 at 09:11 AM by gateway142

[quote=gateway142;30430499]I am considering getting a monthly parking spot in Newark and taking the train to NY Penn Station for my daily commute. If I get to the Newark area at about 7-7:30 am...does anyone know how the traffic is at that time?

I'm currently taking the 77 bus and trying to find a better option.

Thanks in advance.
